What’s New at ALtERED NIGHtMARES?

The planning for the following year’s production starts appropriately at the Cast and Crew Party held on Halloween night! We are all so engulfed with our projects we can not contain the excitement for when it will all begin again. Our attraction has been completely restaged to follow the story and theme of 2009 with the exception (through massive protest) of three terrifying rooms that will be left intact. They have obviously spoke for themselves and will not be altered. We survived the large expansion that took place between the finale night of the Summer Ghost Hunt series and opening night for the October Production, a lot to fit into a short amount of time. A thank you to our talented construction crew! The Human Cage of Terror will be a horrific experience for many! Most of the attraction, the theme and story, the make up and costumes are a different experience than 2008, what will not be different however is the energy that is imprisoned inside the walls at 500 Bridge Street in Weissport, Pennsylvania, and the talented performers that bring it all to the surface.

During the year, morale is upheld by attending various events, and by making “guest appearances” in full special effects and costumes. We have attended such events as:

During the 2009 year we also hosted a few private events at Altered Nightmares which included a photo shoot on Sunday, March 15th, 2009 with Scott Nichol of Silvery Stars, and Bill from Lightphile Studios.

We also hosted a larger event on Sunday June 14th, 2009, which included Scott Nichol of Silvery Stars, George of Zeitgeist Photography and Andy Snyder of Contaminated Lens. A local band also scheduled the use of some space inside the factory to shoot some scenes for an upcoming video marketing project. The day’s events were both artistic and purposeful, building the portfolios of the artists, and acquiring the images for the 2009 marketing of Altered Nightmares.

We hope that you consider attending our attraction and witnessing all that remains at 500 Bridge Street, as well as all that we have created.
